How does the system work?
Basically the user wears a small pendant on their person and if the need for help arise, the pendant button is pressed. The call center operator answers and inquires as to how to help. In the case of no voice contact, the operator already has the appropriate information for the caller, such as name, address, and diagnoses. See the How It Works page for more information.
How will the operator know who is calling?
Your console unit it pre-programmed to identify itself to the call center, and we have pre-loaded all your critical information into the system. When you call for help, we are instantly ready to assist with your emergency by having all your critical information right in front of us.
Are there additional charges for each press of the pendant?
No. Your one low monthly charge is all we charge. We ask that you test the unit monthly by pressing either the pendant button or the console HELP button, and you can press the button as many times as you need us and we will never charge you more.
What geographical region does Bethany VoiceCare serve?

The equipment will work from anywhere inside the continental United States. However, we define our geographical region as that which we can reasonably service from our main facility in Alexandria, MN. We provide in-home service and installation.
What if the batteries wear out in my pendant?
We are notified whenever the battery pack begins to get low, and we hand-deliver a new pendant directly to your home. We never let the battery get low enough to result in system downtime. A report is automatically generated to identify systems with low batteries, but the batteries average 2-3 years between replacements with normal use.
